Tabfinity (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a Chrome extension that helps you organize and manage bookmarks from a custom new tab page. We believe in privacy, transparency, and simplicity - here's everything you need to know.

Data We Collect

• Approximate location (IP-based) - used only to show relevant weather information.

How We Use Data

• Display IP-based weather data on the new tab page.
• Sync and personalize your Tabfinity experience across devices where available.

What We Don’t Collect

• No browsing history or keystroke logging.
• No financial, health, or personal communications content.
• No sale of personal data or use for targeted ads.

Where Data Is Stored

• Locally in Chrome storage for preferences.
• Weather is shown via trusted APIs; we do not store precise geolocation.

Permissions & Host Access

• bookmarks - to read/create/manage bookmarks within Tabfinity.

Host permissions are limited to:

• https://api.ipbase.com/* - IP-based region lookup for weather.
• https://suggestqueries.google.com/* - search suggestions in the interface.
• We do not execute remote code. All executable code ships with the extension.

Data Sharing

We do not collect personal data.

Security

There is no backend for this extension. So, user do not need to worry about security.
